This could be called a news note instead of a newsletter because it is so short. We are just so excited at the prospects of moving that I had to let you all know. IN THIS NEWSLETTER: WE WILL MOVIN' ON BY DECEMBER 31
For more information and pictures when I have them click on:
WE WILL MOVIN' ON BY DECEMBER 31 The motorhome is looking beautiful and will be ready to roll by Friday,
but we don't intend to go far on Friday. We don't want to be on the road
with those who start drinking and driving early on New Year's eve. But
early Saturday morning we will be moving at a steady pace towards Florida.
This will not be a scenic trip; it will be I-10 to I-75 and that is it.
We will probably put in long days too although we will not drive straight
through. Remember we will be at Lazy Days the whole month of January. We
will be presenting our full-timing seminars every Tuesday and Friday mornings
(9 a.m.) and every Saturday and Wednesday afternoons (2 p.m.). You do not
need to attend a rally to come and hear our seminar and meet us; just show
up. Lazy Days is at exit 8 off of I-4 in Seffner technically (just east
of Tampa).
I have been helping Debbie at Pro-Tech
RV Service Center with her web site and she has done a terrific
job. I really had fun feeling useful and sharing. The creative work is
hers; I just showed her the technical stuff. They have an "Ask The Techs"
page where you will be able to email them with technical questions
and receive answers. Of course you will be able to see other's questions
and the answers too. They also have a "Hot Topics" page with lots
of helpful information. We know you will love getting this kind of help
since Ron is not known for his mechanical expertise. We just can't praise
them enough. I don't know how we were so lucky that Larry happened by shortly
after the accident. If you haven't read that story we did about them, I
hope you will. For the full story please go to
THE RAVEN AWARD We have been selected to receive The Raven Award for outstanding RV
web site and feel very honored. I don't know a lot about the organization,
but we will take all the awards we get. Thanks to all of you who support
us. See their page at http://home.att.net/~ravenaward/
THIS N' THAT I am sorry that I did not post Letters and Coffee Break this month. It is such a large file that it is tedious to do at best on the lap top. As soon as we are back in the Dream and sit still for a minute I will work on it. I will post a notice that they are up on What's New. Occasionally someone emails me that they didn't get the current newsletter. Every time we send one out, I get a bunch returned saying they couldn't be delivered for various reasons. I mark it on my address book with the date and if the next newsletter also comes back, I delete that name. If you feel that you missed a newsletter please remember that we keep all of the old issues on our web site. The current one is always posted on Electriconic Newsletter page. When I post a new newsletter, I move the old one to the Old Newsletters pages. All of the old What's New pages are also in the appropriate section of the web site. The same with Letters and Coffee Break. All of them (pictures and all) are there. We wish all of you a Happy New Year. For those of you who will be at Lazy Days---we will see you soon. And for those of you who are in other parts of the country---we will see you later. Don't forget the Life on Wheels Conferences. Click here for information on the San Marcos (Texas) one ---March 12-15, 2000 and here for information on the Idaho conference (July 7-14, 2000) or go to http://www.uidaho.edu/cep/low.htm We will also be presenting our full-timing seminar at the Escapees spring Escapade in Lancaster, California, April 16-21, 2000. So you have lots of chances to catch us this coming year. |
