Beans

1 pound pinto beans
2 quarts water
1 large onion, chopped
1/3 cup catsup
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon black pepper
3/4 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon Accent
1-1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon sugar
1 large bay leaf
1 pound ground beef
Brown beef, drain, set aside. Combine remaining ingredients, bring to
boil. Simmer 2-1/2 hours. Add browned ground beef
and simmer another half hour. Great with corn bread.
