I am not sure this was a fair question. I should have separated the motorhomes from 5th wheels and trailers. I may do it again with three separate categories.
 
1. No, we figured we could use an inside dual tire for a short distance.  15%
2. No, we managed our weight and tire pressure so we weren't worried about flats.  12%
3. No, there was no room so we just took our chances.  7%
4. We carried a tire which was unmounted.  3%
5.Yes, we carried a mounted tire but it was a waste; we never used it.  3%

Will you stay in the RV that you start out with? There are two parts-one for wanabees and one for full-timers.
